Anthony Robinson - Managing Director

Anthony Robinson is a Business Development expert with over 15 years' experience in Asia and North America. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Toronto. Anthony has many years' experience in consulting, online transactions and information delivery and the financial markets.

A fluent Japanese Language speaker, Anthony has been involved with some of Asia's most influential consulting firms and worked with western startups and fortune 500 companies involved with both China and Asian markets.

Anthony was Country Manager of Japan Ecommerce, before embarking on the consulting path on Mainland China. He works closely with foreign multinationals that are entering the China market and Hedge Funds and investment companies trading with China's industrial and financial core, as well as identifying reliable suppliers of commodities for import into China.

Jeremy Gordon - Chief Advisor

Jeremy is the Chief Executive and founder of China Business Services. He has 10 years of consulting experience in China, and was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of a leading Hong Kong-based consultancy.

Originally in Hong Kong as an officer with Britain's Brigade of Gurkhas, Jeremy studied law in the UK before gaining trade, investment and consulting experience working in Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has worked with some of the leading foreign investors in China, including companies such as Alstom, Krupp, Pfizer, Siemens and Standard Life.

Martin Zhang - Research, Strategy & Financial Services Director

Martin Zhang is a finance and M&A expert with over 7 years working experience in Greater China. He started his professional career at GE and worked as an accounting controller, Financial Analysis and Planning Leader, commercial finance specialist, risk management and cost analyst for various divisions within the company. Martin was also a Business Development manager and an Operations and Compliance Manager, coordinating several M&A deals in China, doing preliminary due diligence, and lead several JV deals with Sinopec, Petrochina, Blue Star and many others companies. He successfully closed one deal with a China Power System company with a transaction value of 200 million USD.

Martin also worked for Inbev Group, the world's No.1 beer company, as Business Strategy and Investment Director. He was directly involved in the acquisition of Anheuser-Busch (parent company of Budweiser) and he also lead at least 10 M&A deals in China; total transaction value over 4 Billion RMB

Martin is a native of Jinan, Shandong province, and has a double Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Economics, and English Literature and Linguistics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.

Ms. Ling-yi Chen - Research & Business Resources Coordinator

Ms. Ms. Ling-yi Chen is a BiField associate who received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Shanghai University. With excellent language and communication skills, Ms. Chen liaises with our local and overseas suppliers and buyers/factories, and assists clients with their various needs for completion of successful business.

In addition to possessing excellent research, communication and marketing skills, Ling-yi also identifies trading partners on behalf of our clients and ourselves. She assists with research and the preparation of reports as well as being a contributing writer/reporter to several financial publications covering various industries. She speaks fluent English, in addition to Mandarin and Shanghainese.
